Civil QA/QC Engineer for CAM Plant Project, Kotka

We are looking for a Civil QA/QC Engineer to join our clients China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. team for the Kotka CAM Plant project.

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is a world-renowned international contractor and a leading provider of comprehensive services across the entire industrychain for both public and private sectors. CHEC has been engaged as the main contractor for the CAM Plant project in Kotka, responsible for the implementation and construction of the plant. The position is project-based, with an expected duration of approximately one year, and the work is located in Keltakallio, Kotka.

Your responsibilities include:

• Review and approve various quality documents.
• Inspect subcontractor materials and construction works in accordance with the Employers requirements, review inspection records and test reports, ensure proper filing and traceability.
• Organize and conduct quality-related training for subcontractors.
• Issue, follow up and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate the quality requirements and documentation required for project completion and final handover.

What we expect from you:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering, HVAC, or related discipline.
• Several years of experience in QA/QC roles for structural and architectural construction.
• Strong familiarity with Finnish building regulations, construction permit processes, and handover requirements.
• Good communication skills and strong coordination ability with design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
