We are now looking for a forklift driver for a permanent position in the natural paradise of Föglö, Åland Islands (a temporary position is possible if desired).

The job involves operating a forklift in various stages of production and storage, such as moving products, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials in the production area. The forklift in use is a counterbalanced electric forklift (brand: Linde). The work requires good precision, initiative, and the ability to operate safely in a busy environment. The working conditions are cool, around +2 – +6°C, so readiness to work in cold conditions is important. You will also drive the forklift on a slightly sloped yard. Who is this job suitable for?
We are looking for a communicative person who is capable of working independently and is not afraid to take initiative. Previous experience in operating a forklift is a requirement for this job. You will receive comprehensive training on the specific forklift model and the work environment. The job is suitable for someone who enjoys being close to nature, as the workplace is located on Föglö Island, in a scenic archipelago. You should be able to communicate in English to ensure smooth communication within the team.

• Working hours: full-time: 37.5h/week

Information about the workplace and practical arrangements:
Föglö does not have city services: the island has K-extra, a library, and a gym, while other city services can be found in Mariehamn, 35 minutes by ferry + 30 minutes by car. You can also manage without a car on the island, as the workplace is close to accommodation and there is a bus to Mariehamn. If desired, we can arrange accommodation for you: you will typically stay with another employee in a two- or three-room apartment, and the rent is around 300-450 EUR, which may or may not include electricity/water, depending on the apartment (you will receive exact information with the job offer).

Haemme nyt trukkikuskia vakituiseen työsuhteeseen luonnonhelmaan Ahvenanmaan Föglön saareen (halutessasi määräaikaisuus on mahdollinen).

Työtehtäviin kuuluu trukin käyttö tuotannon ja varaston eri työvaiheissa, kuten tuotteiden siirtäminen, kuormien lastaus ja purku, sekä materiaalivirran sujuvuuden varmistaminen tuotantoalueella. Käytössä oleva trukki on vastapainoinen sähkötrukki (merkki: Linde). Työ vaatii hyvää tarkkuutta, oma-aloitteisuutta sekä kykyä toimia turvallisesti kiireisessä ympäristössä. Työskentelytilat ovat viileät, noin +2 – +6°C, joten valmius työskennellä kylmässä on tärkeää. Ajat trukkia myös hieman kaltevalla pihalla. Tarpeen mukaan voit osallistua myös muihin tuotantoa tukeviin työtehtäviin. Kalaneuvoksella pääset osaksi ammattitaitoista ja todellakin yhteen hiileen puhaltavaa "työperhettä".

Kenelle työ sopii?
Etsimme kommunikaatiotaitoista ja itsenäiseen työskentelyyn kykenevää henkilöä, joka ei pelkää tarttua toimeen. Aiempi kokemus trukin käytöstä on vaatimuksena tälle työlle. Saat toki kattavan perehdytyksen kyseiseen trukkimalliin sekä työympäristöön. Työ sopii luonnon läheiselle henkilölle, sillä työpaikka sijaitsee Föglön saarella, saaristomaisemissa. Puhuthan englantia, jotta kommunikaatio työporukassa sujuu ongelmitta.

Tietoa työskentelypaikkakunnasta ja käytännön järjestelyissä:
Föglössä ei ole kaupungin palveluita: saarella on K-extra, kirjasto ja kuntosali, ja muutoin kaupungin palvelut löytyvät esim. Maarianhaminasta, 35min lauttamatkan ja 30min ajomatkan päästä. Saarella pärjää myös ilman autoa, sillä työpaikka on lähellä majoitusta ja Maarianhaminaan pääsee bussilla. Halutessasi järjestämme sinulle majoituksen: majoitut tyypillisesti toisen työntekijän kanssa rivitalokaksiossa tai -kolmiossa, ja vuokra on n. 300-450eur, ja sisältää, tai ei sisällä sähköä / vettä, riippuen asunnosta (saat tarkan tiedon työtarjouksen yhteydessä).
