Project Procurement Manager

Join us in building a sustainable society powered by clean energy and reliable connections! We are now looking for Project Procurement Manager in Helsinki or Rauma. The position can also be based in any of our other offices in Finland. We offer flexible hybrid working opportunities.

The open position is within our Procurement function and leads procurement activities across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, procurement strategies, and company policies. The role covers the full project lifecycle (tender to closeout) and focuses on delivering value through cost efficiency, supplier performance, risk management, and sustainable sourcing.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement planning and execution
• Act as the main procurement contact for project stakeholders
• Manage sourcing processes (supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, contracts)
• Ensure optimal total cost of ownership and savings
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier issues, claims, and onboarding
• Build and maintain key supplier relationships
• Oversee purchase orders, deliveries, and logistics
• Ensure accurate procurement data in ERP systems
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Integrate ESG and sustainability into sourcing decisions and promote responsible supplier practices

Requirements:

• Relevant degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Engineering)
• 5+ years of procurement experience in project-based environments
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Fluent in English and Finnish
