Shipyard Welder
Location: Rauma or Helsinki, Finland
Employment: Long-term
Join major shipbuilding projects involving naval vessels and icebreakers.
Your duties
- MIG/MAG (135/136) and MMA welding
- Hull and module construction
- Welding in vertical and overhead positions
- Visual inspection and quality control
Requirements
- Previous shipyard, offshore or heavy steel construction experience
- EN ISO 9606-1 welding qualification
- Ability to work in demanding welding positions
- Good English communication skills
Salary and employment terms
Employment generally follows the Technology Industry Collective Agreement. Typical monthly earnings range from€3,000/month, with additional compensation available through shift work, overtime and project-related allowances.
