We are looking for Junior Mechanical Design Engineers for positions within our Configuration Engineering and Layout Engineering teams. Depending on the role, you will focus either on customer-specific product configurations and modifications or on system-level layouts and 3D design. Both areas offer an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical design skills while working with high-end technology and complex engineering systems. Interested? Keep reading!

Your tasks will include mechanical design and engineering work for our cryogen-free dilution refrigerator systems, primarily using PTC Creo. In both roles, you will produce technical drawings and engineering documentation, maintain CAD data in PDM and ERP systems, contribute to the development of engineering processes, tools, and documentation, and collaborate with different teams across the organization.

In Layout Engineering, you will focus on creating and maintaining system layouts and 3D models. You will develop layouts, assemblies, and technical drawings, update them based on engineering changes, and support the development and standardization of layout designs. You will work closely with Configuration Engineering, Site Planning, R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing.

In Configuration Engineering, you will focus on customer-specific configurations and modifications of existing products. You will support the design of components and sub-systems, participate in engineering change projects, and create detailed manufacturing drawings. You will work closely with Sales, R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Testing teams, as well as with our suppliers.

To succeed in either role, you should have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline, together with hands-on experience with PTC Creo gained through studies, internships, thesis work, projects, or previous employment. You are eager to learn and develop professionally, have strong attention to detail, and take a systematic and careful approach to your work. You are committed to producing high-quality results and have good English language skills, both written and spoken. Final-year students and fresh graduates with hands-on PTC Creo experience are encouraged to apply.

In Layout Engineering, you will benefit from an interest in 3D CAD design and larger assemblies.

In Configuration Engineering, a good understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing, and assembly methods will help you succeed.

You will stand out if you have an independent and hands-on approach to work, enjoy collaborating with others, and communicate well with different stakeholders. Previous experience with PDM systems is also considered an advantage. In Layout Engineering, we also appreciate experience with large assemblies and layout design.

We offer you an interesting and challenging position in a highly skilled and supportive organization. You will join a multicultural work environment where you can develop your skills, grow professionally, and work together with experienced colleagues.
